Silas V Hayes, 73, of N. W. First st., died Tuesday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired postal clerk and had
been here three months on a visit from Pinegrove, W. Va. He was a member of Union lodge 8. I. O. O. F. at Lawrenceburg, Ind. He leaves the widow, Mrs. Mary Hayes, and a daughter, Mrs. Aletha Blanchfill of Pinegrove. The body will be sent to to Lawrenceburg by the Philbrick Funeral home for services and burial.
