Hi--Looking for others researching Hayes and/or Stevens around Elizabethtown, Ohio. My Uriah Stevens married Sally/Sarah Ann Hayes on Sep. 25, 1834 in Dearborn co., Indiana and lived near Laughery Creek south of Aurora, Indiana. Later they ended up in Elizabethtown, Ohio where they are buried. Uriah was son of a Charles Stevens, whose wife was probably Rhoda Martin. We think that Uriah also had a brother Charles W. Stevens, and probably an uncle Obediah Truax Stevens--also of Dearborn co., IN. Uriah's daughter Mary Ann Stevens married George Kelly and they also went to Elizabethtown, Ohio. Other children of Uriah Stevens and Sarah Ann Hayes were: Samuel Stevens, Melissa Stevens Zurbrick, Ann Elizabeth Stevens Glazier, Belle Stevens Woerthwine, Mahlon Stevens, Henry Stevens, Clinton Stevens and Fannie Stevens.
