I am the son of Joseph Hayes and Nancy Billingsly Hayes his wife, and grandson of Solomon Hayes and Nancy Craig Hayes his wife, and great-grandson of and his wife, and great-great-great grandson of and great-great-great grandson of his wife
and he, the said Solomon Hayes is the ancestor who assisted in establishing American Independence, while acting in the capacity of 2" Lieutenant of Infantry 2" Company 1" Battalion.
