Harold William Haverson, 76, of 4812 Stafford Circle, died Sunday at his home. He was born May 12, 1898, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday at the Providence United Methodist Church, with the Rev. C. M. Worthy, pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Virginia Hudson of Charlotte, a step-son, Albert A. Prats, Jr., of New Orleans and a sister, Mrs. Ella Grace Sanders, of Houston, Tex.
The family will receive friends tomorrow from 7 to 8 p.m. at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are being sent to Providence United Methodist Church.

C. M. Worthy, ministers of the church, with interment in Sharon Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Dan K. Meigs, Henry Aldridge, Elvin Hoffner, Joe Plaisance, Ellie Evertz and Don Sellers. Arrangements by Harry and Bryant Funeral Directors.

His father was William Arthur Haverson, his mother Grace Marie Haverson. He died of carcinoma of the colon with metastases to the liver and lungs, duration 5 weeks. Other significant conditions were pulmonary emphysema, arteriosclerosis, and diabetes mellitus. There was no autopsy.
