Died 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 1986, at Baton Rouge Health Care Unit. He was 72, a native of Maurepas and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired salesman.
Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 9 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Homer Nowell. Interment in Maurepas Cemetery, Maurepas.
Survived by two sons, Jesse L. Harris Jr. and Charles V. Harris, both of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Allie Sinitiere and Francis Gerace, both of Springfield; a brother, Archie Croach, Springfield; and five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Harris Sanford; four brothers; a sister; and a grandson, Matthew Sanford. He was of the Baptist faith.
