Mrs. Charles C. Armbruster and her sister, Mrs. Arthur W. Hursey, were co-hostesses Tuesday at a shower and tea complimentary to Miss Catherine A. Vaccaro, a bride-elect of this month. They entertained at the home of their mother, Mrs. Joseph C. Menendez, on South Broad avenue. Their guests included Mrs. Felix Vaccaro, mother of the bride-elect; Mmes. Joseph C. Memendez, Herbert H. Hanson of Pass Christian, Miss.; Catherine Lombardo, Ralph C. Lally, Katherine Hursey of Pass Christian; S. D'Antoni, H. B. Breeding, L. A. Vaccaro, Verne W. Streckfus, Felix P. Vaccaro, V. F. Pachi, Muriel Vaccaro, N. B. Knaepfler, George Reedie, Frank Favaloro of Gueydan, La.; F. Spitzfaden, Warren Leval, A. P. Miceli, B. C. D'Antoni, W. W. Duty, George Bohn, B. S. D'Antoni, Joseph and Felix Favaloro, Christopher Nungesser, Elm D. Miss Vaccaro was also entertained this week at a linen shower and tea at which Mrs. Joseph S. D'Antoni was hostess. The tea girls included Misses Maura Ann D'Antoni and Rae Ann Richards.

Hanson-Vaccaro
Among weddings of this month will be that of Miss Catherine Vaccaro, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Vaccaro, to Mr. Herbert Courtenay Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hampton Hanson of Pass Christian, Miss. The wedding will be celebrated Wednesday morning November 21 at 10:30 o'clock at St. Matthias church with an informal reception following at the Orleans Club, at which only the families of the couple will be entertained.
Miss Vaccaro will have as her attendants her sister, Miss Marion Vaccaro, as maid of honor, and Miss Julia Hanson, sister of the bridegroom-elect; Misses Claire Lally, Monita Imbert and Patricia Streckfus, Mrs. H. B. Breeding, Jr., and Mrs. C. C. Armbruster.
Mr. Hanson will have as his best man Mr. John Spoor Broome, and as Groomsmen Messrs. V. B. D'Antoni, Felix Vaccaro Havener and Charles C. Armbruster, Lieutenant Minor Sutter, United States Naval Reserve, and Ensign Arthur W. Hursey, USN.
Miss Vaccari will be entertained at a round of prenuptial parties, the first of which will be a tea this afternoon with Mrs. J. C. Menendez, Mrs. A. W. Hursey and Mrs. C. C. Armbruster as co-hostesses.
