Funeral services for Benjamin G. Hagstette, who died Wednesday morning, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the late residence, 1701 Marigny street. The services will be in charge of the Masonic order and Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Hagstette was 59 years old and a native of Germany. He came to New Orleans in 1870, and here he opened an establishment for the manufacture and repair of combination locks. He became known as the best lock and safe expert of the South and was consulted by many banks in cases where their safe locks could not be opened.
Mr. Hagstette also was noted as a marksman, having taken a number of prizes in shooting contests. He was one of the organizers of the rifle team of the Young Men's Gymnastic club and was a member of the Olympic club and of the New Orleans Rifle club.
The deceased was a member of Germania lodge, A. F. and A. M. Jerusalem temple; B. P. O. E. and many German organizations. He is survived by his third wife Mrs. Louisa Kellar Hagstette, three daughters, Louisa, Edna and Julia; four sons, Frederick, William, Theodore and Herman: one brother, Joseph Hagstette, and five sisters, Mrs. A. Vittur, Mrs. Chris Gruniger, Mrs. John Cummings, Mrs. Fred Hinze of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Joe Wagner.

HAGSTETTE -- Entered into rest, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1913, at 10 o'clock a.m., BERNARD G. HAGSTETTE, beloved husband of Elizabeth Keller, aged 59 years, a native of Germany and a resident of this city for the past forty-two years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also the officers and members of Germania Lodge No. 40, F. and A. M., Jerusalem Temple, and N. O. Lodge 30, B. F. O. E., are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, which will take place This (Thursday) Afternoon, Dec. 4, 1913, at 3:30 o'clock, from his late residence, 1701 Marigny Street, corner Derbigny Street.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
