Aged Man Dies of Paralytic Stroke
LINDEN, Sept. 18.\emdash\emdash Timothy Guard, 77 years of age, died at his home northeast of here at. 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. A stroke of paralysis, suffered last Sunday, was the cause of his death. He had been in ill health for the past six months.
He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Misses Clara and Ada at home, and Mrs. Donnie Butler, of Indianapolis; four sons, Daniel, of Chalmers, lnd.: A. W. Guard, of Hammond, and Timothy, Jr., and Lee, of Frankfort; and one brother, who lives in Ohio.
The funeral will be held from the home at. 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. C. M. McClure of the Linden Methodist church will have charge.
