Mrs. Harper Muff Attends Wedding at Frankfort
   Mrs. Harper Hale Muff of South B street has returned from Frankfort where she attended the marriage of Miss Rosemary Gard, daughter of Mrs. Timothy Guard, and Frank A. Riedel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Riedel of Lafayette.
   The marriage took place in the First Methodist church, Sunday afternoon, Jan. 26 at 2:30 o'clock.
   Mrs. Muff assisted with the reception held in the church parlors immediately following the ceremony.
   The bride has been society editor of The Frankfort Times for the past eight years. Mr. Riedel operates a soft water service in Frankfort and also is employed at the Elks club there.

GUARD-RIEDEL
   Miss Rosemary Guard, daughter of Mrs. Timothy Guard, 402 South Harrison street, and Frank A. Riedel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Riedel, 716 South Twelfth street, Lafayette, were married Sunday afternoon at the First
Methodist church by Rev. James Lawson. 
   Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Charles Swayzee and Miss Janet Kerchenfaut presented a musical program. The bride, given in marriage by Max Fowler, was attended by Mrs. Pierre Douglass, as matron of honor and Mrs. Byron T. Guard, of Cincinnati, as bridesmaid. Byron Guard, brother of the bride, was best man and ushers were William Riedel, brother of the groom, Robert Schwindler, of Lafayette, and Jerry Newhouse. A reception followed in the church parlors. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Robert Schwindler, sister of the groom, of Lafayette; Miss Janet Fournier and Mrs. Harper Muff, Richmond; Miss Jane Gangwer, Lafayette; Miss Roberta Curts, Mrs. James McMurtry, Mrs. Minnie Coulter, Miss Betty Kilian, Mrs. Glen McNutt and Miss Mary Helen Baum. 
   The bride is a graduate of Frankfort high school and Indianapolis Business college. For eight years she has been society editor of the Frankfort Morning Times. The groom was graduated from Jefferson high school, Lafayette, and
Lafayette Business college. He was discharged from the U. S. Coast Guard a year ago and he and his brother are in business together in Frankfort, where the couple will reside.
