Mr. Timothy Guard, R.R. #3, Harrison, Ohio, was born April 15, 1864 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. A white male farmer, he was a widower, his wife being Eliza Williamson. His father was Jacob Guard of Dearborn County, Indiana. His mother was Sarah Hayes of Dearborn County, Indiana. The informant for this certificate is Geo Guard [his son] of Bright, Indiana. Timothy died on 5/19/1942 at the age of 78 years, 1 month, 14 days, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio. The priciple cause of death was hypertensive and arteriosclerotic heart disease. Ruptured appendix, prostatic hypertrophy. Contibutory cause was senility. He had an appendectomy on 4/4/1942, and no autopsy.
The funeral firm was Jackerman and Bulforsh, Lic no 2860, embalmer lic no 4-1-97A. Burial to take place May 28, 1942 at Gibson Cemetery.
