RITES HELD FOR EVERETT GUARD, 58
Funeral services for Everett Guard, 58, who died at his home on Ludlow Hill Sunday, April 6. following an illness of about 15 months, were conducted Wednesday at 2 p..m. in Moon Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Brosend, pastor of the First baptist church officiated and burial was in Greendale cemetery.
Mr. Guard was born in Lawrenceburg March 2, 1894, the son of George and Rose Eisenshank Guard, and spent his entire life in this community. He married Effie Cravens. Oct. 2, 1913. He was a member of the Eagles lodge and Distillers Local Union No. 13. The Eagles conducted ritualistic rites at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening.
Mr. Guard is. survived by his widow, one sister, Mrs, Nellie Stuber of Cincinnati, three half-brothers, George of Dillsboro, William of Cleves and Sebastian Guard of Lawrenceburg.
