Mrs. Ida M. Shearer, 85 years old, a resident of Indianapolis for 60 years. died yesterday in her home, 546 North Centennial Street.
A native of Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Shearer was the past noble grand of the. Progress Rebeccah Lodge and was a member of the Pythian Sisters, the Meta Council Pokahontas, the West Side Social Club and the West Michigan Street Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Kinkey, 547 North Centennial Street. Burial will be in Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
Survivors besides the daughter include a son, Henry M. Shearer, Indianapolis, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grand children.
