JOSEPH W. FORD
RENSSELAER -\emdash Joseph Walter Ford, 74, died at 12:45 a. m. Saturday in his home at 209 East Vine. Although Mr. Ford had been in ill health two years, death was unexpected.
A native of Pulaski county, he had lived at Francesville, Wolcott, Remington and Rankin, Ill., before moving to Rensselaer 32 years ago. After his retirement as a barber, he had been employed by the state highway department and in the office of Dr. Robert Becker, Rensselaer veterinarian. He was a member of the Methodist church and Woodmen's lodge. His first marriage was in 1907 to Susanna Seifert, who died
in 1943. He married Mrs. Edna Ellis here in 1945.
Surviving with the widow are two sons, Walter Ford of Wolcott and State Trooper Daryl Ford of Rensselaer; a daughter, Miss Rosemary Ford of Rensselaer, and two brothers. Arthur Ford of Chicago and Elmer Ford of
