JoAnn English Andrews, a library associate at Tulane University's Howard-Tilton Memorial Library, died Wednesday of cancer at her home. She was 56. Mrs. Andrews was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner for the past 20 years. She graduated from Dominican High School and the University of New Orleans, where she received a bachelor's degree in English literature. She was employed by Tulane University for eight years. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Andrews Sr.; two sons, Jeffrey and Wayne Andrews Jr.; a daughter, Lisa A. Davis; two sisters, Barbara Pfeifle and Beverly English; and four grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at noon at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. [299 Hawthorne Violet]
