John William Giardina at the age of 87 passed away on October 9, 2012 at 2:42 am. Beloved Husband of Dorothy Mildred Von Salzen Giardina for 64 years. Father of Pamela Jane Giardina Webb Brown and John William Giardina, Jr. Grandfather of Emily Paige Brown and Melissa Kaitlin Brown of Kennewick,Washington and Megan Elise Giardina and Kelly Elizabeth Giardina of Gretna. Father-in-law of Christi Kleinpeter Giardina and Roland Glen Brown. A native and resident of New Orleans.
John was Past Master of Galileo-Mazzini Lodge #368 F & A M, Past President of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and active member of St. John Lutheran Church. Knight Commander Court of Honor, New Orleans Valley, 2nd Lt, Commander, Eagle Council of Kodosh, Past Ex High Priest of Concorde Chapter No. 2 Royal Arch, Past Illustrious Master of Louisiana Council No 2 Royal and Select Masters, Member of Indivisible Friends Commandry No 1, Past Commander of Jacques DeMolay Commandery #2 Knight Templar .
