SHEPHERD
Mildred Geissler Shepherd, age 92, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in Houston. TX. She was born January 5. 1915 In New
Orleans, LA to William and Anna Haab Geissler and was a resident of St. Bernard Parish for 52 years and since Hurricane
Katrina, a resident of Kingwood. TX. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rlchard J Shepherd, Jr; her son. Robert John Shepherd, sister Evelyn Geissler Doran Burns, brothers: John and Milton Geissler and is survived by son, Richard J Shepherd III; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She retired from New Orleans Public School System (Charles E Gayerre Elementary School) in 1974.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chalmette, LA at 10:00 am. Monday, March 5th. 2007 with interment at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Research is preferred.
