The marriage of Miss Ruth Ilene Fulaytar and David Ross Hayes took place June 10 in the First Baptist Church at Wheatfield.
The bridegroom's father, the Rev. Everett Hayes of the Brookfield Baptist Church, officiated at the ceremony. His parents live at 1405 Brunswick. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Fulaytar, live at Wheatfield.

Wheatfield Pair Is Married By Groom's Father
WHEATFIELD -- A double ring ceremony in the Wheatfield Baptist church at 7:30 p.m. Saturday united in marriage Miss Ruth Ilene Fulayter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Fulayter, and David Ross Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hayes of Indianapolis.
The Rev. Everett Hayes, father of the groom, performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with white gladiolus and pink asters. The Rev. Hayes was pastor of the Wheatfield Baptist church from 1953 to 1960.
The bride was gowned in white taffeta and Chantilly lace and wore a short net veil.
Miss Jean Fulayter, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor, and wore a ballerina length gown of pink nylon.
Sherman Whited, Kouts, was groomsman. Gerald Fulayter and William Davis, brother and brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers.
The couple received their many wedding guests at a reception in the church basement following the ceremony. On Sunday, the couple attended the graduation of the bride's brother, Donald, from Butler university. The couple left for
a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and expect to reside in Indianapolis where the groom is an optometrist.
Both the bride and groom attended Wheatfield High school where he was a 1957 graduate and she was graduated in 1961.
