Died 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 1988, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was 71, a native of Ville Platte and resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 8 a.m. Monday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Clint Mitchell. Interment in Bankston Cemetery, North Albany.

Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eileen McCray, Livingston; two sons, Kertwin and Simmitt Bankston , both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Mack Andres, Ville Platte; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church, Denham Springs.
