DESSIE FOREMAN PRENDERGAST
Dessie Foreman Prendergast, a homemaker, died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center. She was 91. Mrs. Prendergast was born in Indian Bayou and lived in New Orleans. Survivors include a son, Lawrence W. Prendergast; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 3.

Dessie Foreman Prendergast passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2004. Age 91 years. Wife of the late James Harahan Prendergast. Devoted mother of Lawrence W. Prendergast Mother-in-law of Linda Scroggs Prendergast Grandmother of Laura Prendergast Knecht, Rachelle Marie Prendergast and Mariana Lee Prendergast. Step-grandmother of Cherie Gremillion Gaudet and Shannon Gremillion Williams. Great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Kaden and Kristian Knecht. Step-great-grandmother of Jared Gaudet and Gavin Williams. Sister of the late Vera Murray, Alene Randolph, Ann Patrick and Claude Foreman Sr. Daughter of the late Anna Spell Foreman and Lawrence Foreman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd (in Metairie Cemetery) on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 1:00 p m.
