Fetherston-Perschall
Miss Margaret Lynn Perschall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Francis Perschall, became the bride Saturday of Mr. Thomas Austin Fetherston of New York, son of Mrs. Thomas Joseph Fetherston and the late Mr. Fetherston. The wedding was celebrated at St. Rita's Church with the Rev. Lee Boudreaux officiating.
The bride wore an Empire gown of ivory peau de sole and reembroidered Alencon lace featuring a Sabrina neckline. Matching lace accented the bodice and bordered the sides of the A-line skirt. She carried orchids and lillies of the valley.
Miss Susan Perschall, the bride's sister, served as maid-of-honor. The bridesmaids were Misses Patricia Perschall, another sister, and Linda Lawrence. They wore Empire dresses of green taffeta faille with a low rounded neckline. Ruffles of the faille trimmed the neckline and hemline. They carried yellow roses, bronze chysanthemums and English ivy.
Mr. Timothy Rice was best man. The groomsmen and ushers were Messrs. Clement Perschall Jr., brother of the bride; Henry Cavanna of New York; David Walsh of Baton Rouge and Richard Edrington.
A reception followed at the Metairie Country Club.
After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Somerset, N. J.
