Errol Charles Anderson was a US Army Veteran serving from 1964-66 with foreign service in Germany.
On September 7, 1968, Errol married Joyce Hellman. Errol owned and operated Mayville Hardware from 1966-2008 where he provided knowledge and service to his customers. He was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church; the National Hardware Association; Do It Best Corporation; the Cherry Creek Sno-Goers; past Mayville Central School Board member; and past treasurer of Mayville Library. Errol was an avid golfer, snowmobiler, and past racquetball player. Errol is survived by his wife; daughter Amy Anderson (Donald) Schultze; son Darren (Meredith) Anderson; 2 beloved granddaughters; sisters Irene Burrows, Connie Szostek and Wendy Doody and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Woodrow J. Anderson.
Interment will be in Mayville Cemetery.
