WHITE , VIVIAN FELDER
She was a sales representative for EMC Enterprises, a member of the foster grandparents program, where she worked with the first grade at Northside Elementary School, Denham Springs, and previously with the first grade at Freshwater Elementary, Denham Springs. She and her husband were former owners of Casa de Fresa restaurant in Hammond and White 's Texaco in Denham Springs. A resident of Denham Springs, she died at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2004, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet, Baton Rouge. She was born Dec. 2, 1917, in Springfield, a graduate of Springfield High School, class of 1935, and attended Southeastern Louisiana College, Hammond. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004, and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004. Service at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Wayne Talley officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Albany. She is survived by a grandson, George Huey White of Hammond; granddaughter, Ashlea Marie White of Albany; a sister, Dorothy Horvath of Springfield; brother, Henry D. Felder Jr. of Denham Springs; daughter-in-law, Linda Dubois White of Albany; two brothers-in-law, Billy White of Ponchatoula and Henry Preston White of Albany; sister-in-law, Helen White Papp Hano of Albany; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ellis White ; parents, Henry David and Mary Causey Felder ; son, Ellis Earl White ; two sisters, Lillian Felder Barnum and Eileen Felder Hoover; and six brothers, Roy, Lester, Rufus, R.Q. "Petey," Mayhew and Earlo Felder . Pallbearers will be Monty Fox, Tim Fox, Trey Fayard, E.B. White and Daniel Wardle. She was a member of Eden Baptist Church.
