Died Wednesday, March 1, 1989, at Seventh Ward General Hospital, Hammond. He was 80, a native and resident of Springfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at Woodland Baptist Church, Springfield, 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial in church cemetery with military graveside rites by American Legion, Tucker A. Gregoire Post No. 258 of Springfield. Survived by wife, Mrs. Alice Causey "Johnnie" Felder , Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. Billy (Irma) Secrest, Springfield, and Mrs. Harold (Kathlene) Sowell, Houston, Texas; a son, John Allen Felder , Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Barnum, Springfield, Mrs. Thomas (Eleen) Hoover, Pumpkin Center, Mrs. Vivian White, Denham Springs, and Mrs. Steve (Dorothy) Harvath, Springfield; a brother, Henry D. Felder , Denham Springs; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was amember of Woodland Baptist Church.
