Gretchen Fabacher Rouzan, beloved mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at the age of 81. She was born November 15, 1932, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Joseph Jacob Fabacher and Lucille Tujague Fabacher. Mrs. Rouzan was a lifelong parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband of 15 years, Thomas F. Rouzan. Gretchen is survived by her daughters Sharon R. Smith, Laura R. Algino and Renee R. George. She is also survived by her siblings Elaine, Janice, Carole, Marion and Frederick; and her grandchildren Thomas, Courtney, Kaitlin, Sarah, Matthew, Glynn, Anthony and Gabrielle.
The family attended a private service for Gretchen in Metairie Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Fabacher announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Gretchen Fabacher, to Mr. Thomas F. Rouzan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Rouzan of Chicago, Ill.
The wedding will be solemnized August 27 at 9 a. m. in St. Francis Xavier church.
Miss Marion Fabacher, sister of the bride-elect, will be the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids will include Miss Carol Fabacher, another sister of the bride-elect, and Miss Margaret Ann Leonhard.
