Merlin David Albert II, a carpenter, died Oct. 19 of respiratory failure at Lakeview Regional Medical Center.
He was 61. Mr. Albert was born in New Orleans and lived in Covington for the past 29 years. He worked for A&K Construction Co. in Covington and was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Jean Albert; two brothers, Earl V. Albert Jr. of New Orleans and Lee V. Albert of New Jersey; and a sister, Jean Devenney of New Jersey. A private service was held,. Bagnell & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
