employee and a lifeiong resident of Metalrie, LA. She had just recently celebrated her 100th birthday and lived a happy. content and fulffilling life She stated that she attributed her long Iife to daily prayer a posture attitude.obeying her parents and a deep commitment and love of Jesus Christ. Mamie Catherine Deckelmann Richardson, a. retired telephone 0perator for AT&T, died Monday at Touro Infirmary. She was 100. Mrs. Richardson was born in Centenville, formerly lived in Metairie and lived in
New Orleans for most of her life. She attended Sophie B. Wright High School. She-was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Metaine for 45 years. Survivors include three sons, Rodney, Elwood and Warren Richardson; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A Mass will be said Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be Friday at 7 to 10 pm. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
