DURNIN, LAURA FRANCIS
Died at 8 pm. Saturday, Dec. 10, 1983, in Pine Grove, as a result of an automobile accident. She was 15, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Watson. She was a 10th grade student at Live Oak High School and former Baton Rouge High School student. Visiting at Scale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4 to 10 pm. Monday and
after 8 am. Tuesday. Religious services at Live Oak Methodist Church, Watson, at noon Tuesday,conducted by the Rev. Burton Blair. Burial in Roberts Cemetery, Hillsdale.
Survived by her mother, Mrs. Boots Durnin, Baton Rouge; father, John Alexander Durnin J r., Greensburg; three
sisters, Tracie Prevost, Hammond, Jeannie Easterly, Watson, and Johnna Durnin, Baton Rouge; two brothers, John Alexander Durnin III and Barry Lee Moore 11, both of Baton Rouge; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucille Pevey Durnin, Watson; paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Nettie Pevey, Amite. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Baton Rouge; Baton Rouge High School Beta Club and Greater Baton Rouge Youth Orchestra
