MRS. HANNAH GUARD DEAD
Old Resident of Near Philo Called to Reward
The death of Mrs. Hannah Guard of diseases incident to old age occurred at the. home of a son, A. G. Guard, near Philo, on Wednesday.
Mrs. Guard was born in Virginia almost ninety-one years ago. She came with her husband to Ohio after
their marriage, and since 1873 had lived near Philo. Mr. Guard has been dead since 1888.
The decedent is survived by eight children and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The children are: A. G. Guard; Columbus Guard of Eiizabethtown, 0.; Mrs. Sally Fiske of Denver, Colo..; W. R. Guard, Mrs. Estella Hess and Mrs. Tiny Woodrun of Decatur; T. M. Guard of Kansas City, and Mrs. Fanny Wilson of Allerton. One child is dead.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist Episcopal church there at 10 o'clock this morning, and the body will be taken to Lawrenceburg, Ind., for burial.
