Marion Duhy Buras on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at 1:35 p.m. at her residence. Age 79 years. Beloved wife of Emmett J. Buras . Mother of Darryl E. and Wayne A. Buras and Eileen B. Migliore. Sister of Samuel and Frederick Duhy and the late Joseph Duhy . Daughter of the late Augusta Ahsenmacher and Joseph S. Duhy . Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for 19 years.

Relatives and friends; also employees of Southern Railroad; members of New Orleans Police Department Reserve, VFW Post No. 10666 and the congregation of First Baptist Church of Chalmette are invited to attend the Funeral Service at VICKERS, VERRETTE & DORNAN FUNERAL HOME, 3027 Jean Lafitte Parkway, Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
