Joseph Samuel Duhy, Sr., on Tuesday, December 16, 1980 at 6:45 o'clock a.m. Beloved husband of the late Augusta Ahsenmacher; father of Marian Buras, Frederick A., Samuel M. and the Joseph S. Duhy, Jr.; brother of Frederick G., Edward L., and the late Olivia G., John H., and Charles A. Duhy; also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Age 83 years. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the First English Lutheran Church, B.R.A.C. Railroad Clerks, employees of Southern railroad and the New Orleans Terminal Company are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the Funeral Home of Jacob Schoen & Son Inc., 527 Elysian Fields Avenue on Thursday, December 18, 1980 at 11 o'clock a.m. Religious services at First English Lutheran Church. Interment in St. Vincent dePaul Mausoleum. Donations to First English Lutheran Church preferred. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
