Mrs. Guy Joseph Rockford of Baton Rouge announces the engagement of her granddaughter, Miss Sharon Ann Albert, to Mr. Morrell Spencer Crane Jr., son of Mr. Crane and Mrs. John Nicholas McCabe Jr. The bride-elect is a daughter of Mr. Preston Wilbert Albert Jr. of Plaquemine and the late Mrs. Linda Rockford Albert of Baton Rouge.
The wedding will be solemnized in mid-Janaury in Baton Rouge.
Miss Albert was graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, and Louisiana State University School of Allied Health, where she received a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
In addition to Mrs. Rockford, she is a granddaughter of the late Mr. Rockford and Mrs. Rosamond Berthelot Albert and the late Mr. Preston Wilbert Albert.
Mr. Crane, whose mother was before her marriage Miss Carolyn Barclay Schwab, was graduated from De La Salle High School and LSU, where he received a bachelor of science degree in psychology. He was a member lf Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John White Schwab and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rene Murphy Crane.
Following a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in New Orleans.
