Caroline Donnow Silbernagel, on Friday, July 1, 1983 at 7:01 p.m., beloved wife of the late Louis Jacob Silbernagel; daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Firsch and Frederick Donnow; mother of Brenda Silbernagel Hingle, Louis, Joseph and Thomas Silbernagel; sister of Theresa Payne, Frederick Donnow, and the late Joseph Donnow; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Age 74 years, a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Violet, LA for the past 10 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Boeing Company, K-Mart, John H. Hosland, Martin Marietta, New Orleans Fire Department, New Orleans Police Department, Medical Center of East New Orleans, Avondale Shipyards, Herron Company, and the American Can Company, are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 7701 St. Bernard Hwy., Arabi, La., on Tuesday, July 5, 1983 at 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Violet, La.
Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Monday.
