Sally Marie (DeRossett) Zimmer passed away, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:45 am, peacefully at home with her daughters by her side. She was born January 15, 1926 at home in Murphysboro to Joshua and Ida DeRossett, the sixth of eight children. Sally married Jim Zimmer on November 4, 1950 in Murphysboro. She was a member of First Christian Church of Carbondale.
Sally is survived by her daughters, ___ of Chattanooga, TN and ___ of Carbondale; her only grandchild, ___ of Chattanooga, TN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service is being planned pending finalization of details by the family.
