Deimel Rites Held in N. O.
Funeral services for Charles S. Deimel, a Veterans Administration employe, were conducted Tuesday at the McMahon-Coburn-Briede Funeral Home, 600 Moss Sr. The Rev. Harry Crane, S.J., conducted the service. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Deimel died Sunday at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. He was 58.
A native of New Orleans, Mr. Deimel was a veteran of World War II. He was an employe of the VA since 1946.
Survivors include his widow, Betty Crane Deimel; a son, David Deimel; a brother Edgar Deimel, and a sister, Eleanora Guenard.
