DURNIN, MRS. ANNA DAVIS
Died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 1975, at St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg. She was 90, a native of Innis and resident of Greensburg. Body at McKnelly Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 11:10 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at Hillsdale Baptist Church, Hillsdale, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, the Revs. Anthony Jordan and C. Lathan Johnson officiating. Burial in Roberts Cemetery.
Survived by three sons, John A. and Arnold D. Durnin, both of Greensburg, and A. K. Durnin Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. W. A. (Gladys) McGehee, Pride, and Mrs. Jack F. (Ruth) Herbert, Hammond; 24 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Alex J. Durnin, a son, Davis Durnin, two daughters, Miss Ella Durnin and Mrs. Mildred Rohner, and a grandson, Joe Durnin. Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Durnin Jr., Jack Herbert, Billy McGehee, Douglas, Jerry and Terry Durnin, Clarence, Ellzey, Glenn, Elton, Floyd, Joe and James Rohner.
