VON SALZEN
Gloria Dardenne Von Salzen, age 84, a native of New Orlean, LA and former long-time Metairie, LA resident, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in Fredericksburg, VA. Beloved wife of the late Conley Charles Von Salzen. Mother of Georgene Von Salzen Matthews and Connie Von Salzen Orgeron. Mother-in-law of William B. Matthews, Jr. and LTC (Ret.) Herman J. Orgeron, Jr. Grandmother of Kimberly Matthews Bantom and Herman J. Orgeron, III. Great-grandmother of Conley W. Bantom and Ridgleigh D. Bantom.
Mrs. Von Salzen was a member of St.Francis Xavier parish and the Bons Temps Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
