Victory was the name given to a daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Warren J. Crane, 1938 Penniston street, Monday morning, just at the time that New Orleans was waking to the news of peace.
Mr. Crane, who is the superintendent of the American Sugar Refinery, has two sons in the army, Warren J. Crane, Jr., who is with the Headquarters Troop, 39th Division, in France, and Rene M. Crane, who is an instructor in Springfield college.
Mary Victory Crane, the twelfth child born to Mr. and Mrs. Crane, will bear the name of America's greatest day in history.
