Victory was the name given to a daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Warren J. Crane, 1938 Penniston street, Monday morning, just at the time that New Orleans was waking to the news of peace.
Mr. Crane, who is the superintendent of the American Sugar Refinery, has two sons in the army, Warren J. Crane, Jr., who is with the Headquarters Troop, 39th Division, in France, and Rene M. Crane, who is an instructor in Springfield college.
Mary Victory Crane, the twelfth child born to Mr. and Mrs. Crane, will bear the name of America's greatest day in history.

Mary Victory ("Billie") Crane Boudreaux passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at the age of 90. She was born November 11, 1918, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Warren Joseph Crane and Marie Josephine Murphy Crane .

Billie attended Sacred Heart Academy and Newcomb College. She retired as a Bookkeeper with Tulane University after years of dedicated service.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin A. Boudreaux and 11 siblings. Billie is survived by her loving daughter Catherine B. Roussel; her grandchildren Katherine Lopez and Paul Roussel; and her great grandchildren Kaitlin Roussel, Gabriel Lopez and Lauren Lopez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Entombment will follow at Metairie Cemetery. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Miss Simone Besserat will be maid of honor to the bride and Miss Janet Rusovich will be bridesmaid. Mr. Edward Lynch, United States Naval reserve, will be best man to Mr. Boudreaux. Mr. Buford Smith, United States Naval Reserve, will be groomsman, and the ushers will be the bride-elect's brothers, Mr. Rene Crane and Mr. Price Crane.
