WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS
Mr. and Mrs. David Carlan Loker announce the engagement of their daughter, Myss Myra Semmes Walsmley Loker, to Mr. John McFetridge Crane of San Antonio, Tex., son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Crane of New Orleans. No date for the wedding has been set. Miss Loker, who was formally introduced a few seasons ago when she received a number of Carnival honors, is one of a lovely group of sisters and is popular in younger social circles. She is a member of the New Orleans Junior League.
Mr. Crane, who has been making his home in San Antonio for the past several years, has a wide circle of friends in New Orleans, and the announcement will claim much interest here where both families are well known. Mr. Crane will arrive today from Texas to spend a part of the holiday season.
