COURTNEY, OTTO MILTON SR.
He died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was 87, a native of St. Helena Parish and a resident of Hillsdale. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Amite. Survived by four sons, Milton Courtney and Marvin Courtney, both of Gonzales, Ward Courtney, Amite, and Don Boudreaux, Atlanta; two grandchildren, Ann Ewing and David Courtney, both of Gonzales; and three great-grandchildren, Christine Ewing, James Ewing and Chelsie Ewing. Preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Turner Courtney; parents, J.B. "Buck" Courtney and Amelia Borer Courtney; a sister, Alberta Webb; and three brothers, James Courtney, Emile Courtney and Woodrow Courtney. Interment in Courtney Family Cemetery, Amite.
