CASEY - Carl C. Connelly, 76, of Casey, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday (Sept. 28, 1987) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey with Bro. Forrest Sisk officiating. Burial will be at Casey-Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
He was born June 5, 1911, in Clark County, a son of Everett and Ruth Welsh Connelly. He married Lula Lansbery June 14, 1930. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Doyle of Casey; two brothers, Fred of Charleston and Bobby of Martinsville; three sisters, Thelma Coon of Casey, Daphena Ulrey of Clay City and Rosale Bartlett of West Union; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Connelly was a retired general gravel contractor and was a member of the Casey Church of Christ, where he was an elder.
