Betty Chappetta Parks went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2009. She was 82 years old. A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved wife of the late Walter Franklin Parks. Daughter of the late Samuel Chappetta , Sr. and Ada Archibald Chappetta . Sister of the late William Joseph Chappetta . Mrs. Parks is survived by her beloved niece Karen Pisciotta Schumacher as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.
The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday morning, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
