CARUSO -- On Monday, September 19, 1966, at 3:30 o'clock a. m., NICHOLAS ALBERT CARUSO JR., beloved husband of Louise Muraglia, father of Mrs. Robert Duhon and Marilyn Caruso, brother of Mrs. Mathilde Dieck, Mrs. John Karcher, Vincent, Andrew, Frank and John Caruso, son of the late Nicholas Caruso and Andrina Silbernagle, age 44 years, a native of New Orleans, La.
Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of Perseverance Lodge No. 4 F&AM, employes of New Orleans Photo and Engraving Co., Sandair Corp. and Labiche's Inc., are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from the funeral home of Jacob Schoen & Son Inc., 527 Elysian Fields ave., parking 2223 Chartres st., on Tuesday, September 20, 1966, at 1:30 o'clock p. m.
Interment in St Vincent dePaul Cemetery No. 3.

Nicholas J. Caruso Sr., a retired business manager of TAC Amusement Co. for more than 40 years, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at his home. He was 79. Mr. Caruso was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 14 years. He graduated from S.J. Peters High School. He was a member of the Altar Boys Society of St. John the Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Caruso ; three sons, Lester, Randy and Nick Caruso of Katy, Texas; two daughters, Kim Durr of Mandeville and Jean Bizette; a brother, Joe Caruso of New Orleans; a sister, Conchetta Giovingo; and 11 grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
