Bloomfield: Joan E. Herrington, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018. She is survived by her husband, F. John "Jack" Herrington; son, Dennis (Deanna) Herrington; daughters, Pamela Herrington (Wayne Palmer); Nancy (Patrick) Long; brother, John Zurbrick; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
She started her career as a secretary and utilized those organizational skills throughout her life. Her primary focus was on home and family and creating pleasant beautifully decorated surroundings, in Bloomfield and at their cottages in the Thousand Islands and Keuka Lake. She was a member of Bloomfield Garden Club, the Fortnightly Club and was a volunteer at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Friends may call Thursday, September 6th from 2-4 pm at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, 2 South Ave., E. Bloomfield.
Her funeral service will be held following the visitation at 4 pm. Interment will be in E. Bloomfield Cemetery, E. Bloomfield. Memorial contributions may be made to The F. F.
