Miss Mary C. Zimmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zimmer, Hurst, became the bride of Albert E. Hartman, Waterloo, June 6.
The Rev. Dean Hill performed the single ring ceremony at 2 p. m. in the Hurst First Christian Church.
Mr. Hartman is the son of Mrs. Emil A. Hartman, Waterloo, and the late Mr. Hartman.
Mrs. James R. Zimmer, Carbondale, was matron of honor, James R. Zimmer was best man.
Mrs. Joseph Spagnoli of Hurst was soloist. Organist was Mrs. Joe Emerson of Hurst.
A reception at the home of the bride followed the ceremony. After a trip to the west coast, the Hartmans will be at home at Waterloo.
The bride was formerly employed by the U. S. Department of Labor in St. Louis. Mr. Hartman is employed by Socony Mobile Oil Co., East St. Louis.

Funeral services for Mary C. Zimmer Hartman, 58, of Waterloo will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo. Burial will be in Kolmer Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Quemheirn Funeral Home in Waterloo.
Mrs. Hartman died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 1980, at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., after an extended illness.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, and also a member of Chancel Choir, Waterloo Chapter 732 Order of the Eastern Star, Woman's Club, Waterloo Homemakers and a 4-H leader for nine years
She was born April 3, 1922. in Hurst to Henry F. and Effie A Conneley Zimmer.
She married Albert E. Hartman, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann and Martha Hartman, both at home; one brother, James R. Ztmmer of Carbondale; one nephew; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Gordon and William Zimmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St Paul's Choir Fund.
