Services:A service will be conducted at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 19, 2009 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis, In. 46237.

Visitation:Friends may call from 4:30-6:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Crown Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Mildred E. Milburn, 92, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Village Oaks at Greenwood. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born September 28, 1917, in Bloomington. Her mother was Inez (Hammond) Johnston and her step-father was William Johnston. She married Donald L. Milburn. He preceded her in death April 6, 2003. Survivors include a son, Ernest B. Milburn; and a granddaughter, Melissa Milburn; two great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Donald..

She was employed for 15 years by American United Life Insurance Co. as a Executive Secretary, having retired in 1960. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution National No. 734026.
