MARRIED SATURDAY EVENING
Mr. Stanley H. Wykoff, a prominent young man of this city, and Miss Maude E. Perkins, a successtui school teacher of Lawrence county, surprised a host of their friends Saturday evening by repairing to the Christian church parsonage and being united in marriage by Rev. Dubber.
The bride and groom started from the home of the bride's parents, five miles west of the city, leaving them under the impression that they were going to church, but instead came to this city and were united in holy marimony.
Mr. Wykoff is a young man of sterling worth, the oldest son of Mr. and
Mrs. B. S. Wykoff.
Mrs. Wykoff is a winsome bride, the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Perkins.
They will be at home to their many friends after Oct. 10th, at their home on East 16th street.

Stanley H. Wykoff
Stanley H. Wykoff, 89, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Northside Health Care Center in Indianapolis. He had been ill for several years.
He was born Feb. 21, 1892, in Lawrence County, to Ben and Ida Thomas Wykoff. He was first married to Maude Perkins in early life and second to Mary Ellison in Lawrence County and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Helen W. Graus, of lndlanapolis; one granddaughter, and, two great-
grandsons. Also, three brothers, Wilmer and Dudley, both of Redford, and Nyman, of Georgia. He was
preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Ferguson-lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Loren Raines officiating. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
