Mr. and Mrs. George Price Crane have issued invitations for the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Josephine, to Mr. Hugh Harrison Burton, the wedding to take place Wednesday morning, June 17, at 9 o'clock at the Holy Name of Jesus church, in St. Charles avenue.

The wedding of Miss Dorothy Crane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Crane, to Mr. Hugh Harrison Burton of California was celebrated at a nuptial mass at nine o'clock Wednesday morning in the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus in St. Charles avenue. Rev. Fr. Terence King, S. J., of Loyola university, assisted by Rev. Fr. Navin, S. J., pastor of the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, officiated.
The bride is a popular member of the younger set, and a graduate of the convent of the Holy Name. Mr. Burton was formerly a resident of California, but for the past several years has resided here. He was graduated from the University of California, and is a member of the Theat XI fraternity.
The bride was given away by her father, Mr. George P. Crane, and wore an old-fashioned dress of crepe romain, trimmed with real lace. The veil was caught on each side with orange blossoms, and she carried white roses and lilies of the valley.
Miss Crane had as her maid of honor, her sister, Miss Marjorie Crane, and Mr. Burton had as his best man, Mr. Samuel Stone, Jr. The ushers were Messrs. Edmund Crane, Hilton Crane, Pierce Brothers and Edward De Russey.
After the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Broadway street for the immediate family and close personal friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Burton left at noon for a six weeks visit to California and other places West.
