Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Wilson of Hagerstown announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Maria Mae, to Michael Eugene Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl M. Ford of Rensselaer.
The bride-elect is a 1957 graduate of Hagerstown high school and is attending Ball State Teachers college, Muncie. She is a member of Sigma Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi and Delta Phi Delta sororities.
Mr. Ford was graduated from Renssalaer high school and also is a student at Ball State. He is a member of Delta Chi fraternity.
The wedding will take place Sunday, June 4, at the Methodist church in Hagerstown.

Of interest to their many Ball State College friends is the announcement of the engagement of Miss Marcia Mae Wilson and Michael Eugene Ford. The announcement of his daughter's forthcoming marriage is being made by Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Wilson of Hagerstown. Mr. Ford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl
M. Ford of Rensselaer.
A 1957 graduate of Hagerstown High School, the bride-elect is a senior at Ball State College. She is a member of Sigma Kappa, social sorority, Kappa Delta Pi
and Delta Phi Delta. Mr. Ford, a graduate of the Rensselaer High School, is a student at Ball State where he is a member of Delta Chi, social fraternity.

Hagerstown Vows Unite Miss Wilson, M. E. Ford
HAGERSTOWN.\'97Miss Marcia Mae Wilson and Michael Eugene Ford were married June 4 at 3:30 p. m. in the Hagerstown Methodist church.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Wilson of this place are the parents of the bride. Mr. Ford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl M. Ford of Rensselaer.
Rev. George Barker, Muncie. officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Lighted tapers, palms and bouquets of pink carnations were used in decoration. Music was supplied by Lowell Evans, organist, Muncie, and Beatrice Mair, vocalist, Ball State Teachers college.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, were a gown of white peau de soie. The elongated bodice, which tapered to points at the front and back waistlines, was made with short sleeves and scoop neckline outlined in Alencon lace and iridescent sequins. The bouffant skirt, worn over a hoop, was ballerina length and trimmed in Alencon lace and sequins. Her fingertip length veil of
French illusion fell from a jeweled crown. She carried a nosegay of white roses. ivy and white satin streamers tied in lovers' knots.
Miss Janice Underdown was the maid of honor, and Miss Ruth Cunningham, the bridesmaid. They are sorority sisters of the bride. They wore identically- styled ballerina-length dresses of organza with self-colored net overskirts.
Their face veils were attached to large bows in shades to match their gowns. They carried nosegays of pink and deep rose rose-buds. Miss Underdown wore deep pink with light pink sash, and Miss Cunningham, light pink with deep rose sash.
Lights Candles
Sheryl Wilson, sister of the bride, lighted the candles. She wore a pink cotton dress with bouffant skirt and pink rose corsage.
Bill Stockton of Rensselaer was the best man. Ushers were Dick Ford, Rensselaer, brother of the bridegroom, and Richard Bulen, Crown Point, fraternity-brother of the bridegroom.
A reception for 100 guests was held in the fellowship hall of the church, following the ceremony. Guests were registered by Anita Wilson, also a sister of the bride. Miss Wilson was attired in a yellow dress and wore a yellow rose
corsage.
Serving were Miss Marilyn Dixon, Hagerstown: Miss Sandy Oppy and Miss Mary Kitterman, Muncie. They wore pink net aprons. gifts from the bride, and
white carnation corsages. l
The serving table was covered with white satin and net and draped with pink ribbons caught at intervals with pink sweet pea nosegays. Centering the table was a bridal coach floral arrangement and pink tapers. The three-tier white wedding cake was decorated in pink roses and sugar bells and topped with bells doves and a miniature book with the date and names of the bride and bride-groom. Sprays of crepe myrtle surrounded the cake and punch bowl. The gift table was covered with a white linen cloth, also caught with pink ribbon bows.

Mr. and Mrs. Ford will reside in Muncie.
Mrs. Ford graduated from the Hagerstown High school in 1957 and received her B.S. degree from Ball State Teachers college on June 4. She is a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority, Kapu Delta Pi and Delta Phi Delta honoraries. Mr. Ford graduated from Rensselaer High school and is attending Ball State. He is a member of the Delta Chi fraternity.
