          WEST - ADKINS
   The home of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Adkins was the scene of a pretty wedding at 8 o'clock last Wednesday evening, the bride being their oldest daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Adkins. and the bridegroom, Mr. Joseph West of Lawrenceburg. Before the ceremony Miss Fay Terrill of Indianapolis sang "A Perfect Day" and "Because" after the service. Miss Florence Bowers, pianist. and Miss Edith Dashiell, violinist, played Lohengrln's "Wedding March" for the entrance of the bridal party. Little Miss Frances Crawford, of Indianapolis, niece of the groom. and Master Maxwell Johnson, of Chicago, cousin of the bride, preceded the bride and groom carrying the rings in baskets of pink and white sweet peas. The bridal party stood under a heart shaped arch of daises and roses as the service was being read by the Rev. E. A. Robertson of the M. E. church. The double ring ceremony was used and was beautiful and impressive.
   The bride was lovely in a gown of white embroidered organdie over white net and carried bride's roses. The groom wore the conventional black. 
   After the ceremony a three course luncheon was served on the lawn to about sixty-five guests. The appointments were in pink and white, the scheme was carried out in the ices and cakes.
   Mr. and Mrs. West received many beautiful and costly presents consisting of fine china, cut glass and silver. They have gone to Zanesville, 0., for residence.
   The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Johnson and family of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Crawford and family and Miss Fay Terrill of Indianapolis; Mr. Elmer Reese and daughter of Bradford, Ill.; The Miss Sims, Mr. Dorman Sims, Prof. and Mrs Joseph Houston, Hattie Houston and Mrs. Schooley of Lawrenceburg; Mr Alex Williamson of Rising Sun; Mr and Mrs. Whitney of Elizabethtown, Mr. Will Adkins of Milan; Mrs. Power of Warsaw and Mr. Floyd Kennett of Greensburg.
